Being a witness to the life that happens around you without any preconceived ideas or prejudice towards anyone or anything, but to simply allow life to just be. In doing so, one becomes introspective of the relationship one has towards the world, and vice versa.

Observing Deeply
There is no set aesthetic or style to this series. This is a space where I come to shape, discover and define my way of creating films. So far, the theme mainly revolves around the question, what does it mean to be human? Capturing the intricate experience and nuances of being human.

I am fascinated by the way moving images continuously change and shift its meaning depending on the way it is created in relation to other aspects of a film (i.e sound, color and editing). How these elements configure and reconfigure themselves to create meaning. Two people can watch the same film, and have two totally different experiences. It goes to show that a director can only do so much, but once the work is published, it takes a new life on its own. ​​

Théo made a promise to his best friend, Ally, that even after he passes away, he would still listen to all her thoughts and fears, only if she would continue to leave him voicemails. One evening, Ally finds herself lost in her own thoughts and overwhelm with grieves, so she decides to leave Theo a voicemail about the concept of ‘home’ and how she finally come to realize where her home is.
